NO. Prices, products and guarantees offered on the website http://www.ferrerojeda.com/es-Es/UB2.aspx are exclusively for this group. If you are interested in taking out insurance of any kind and do not belong to this group of people, you can contact us by sending an e-mail to ferrerojeda@ferrerojeda.com with your information and we can contact you.

 

  1. How long will it take to get my insurance?

It is very easy! You simply have to choose the product, the duration of the coverage and the start date to calculate the price. In case you are interested in hiring, you register on the web, you pay with your credit / debit card and together with the payment agreement at the same moment a certificate of coverage is issued, valid and approved by the company.

 

  1. Which are the payment options?

These products can only be paid by debit / credit card and the payment is TOTAL.

  1. If I get the insurance and after that I decide that I’m not interested in have it, can I get the money back?

NO. Please, take your time to read carefully the conditions of the insurance because it is a contract. The payment of the premium implies acceptance of its clauses, so it won’t be refundable in any case. If you have any doubts please contact us before registering and we will solve all your questions.

The cancellation of the insurance will only be accepted when the coverage has not been initiated and prior presentation of the letter of denial of the visa from the corresponding official institution. In this case please send an e-mail to ub@ferrerojeda.com including your insurance certificate and we’ll give you a reply as soon as possible.

 

  1. I need an insurance receipt of payment, can I get it?

Insurance does not earn VAT, so there are no invoices. The official document that accredits the coverage is the receipt of payment by card that you must request to your bank or you can download it by the extract of your electronic bank.

 

  1. In which language can I get my insurance?

We have all the documents available in English, Spanish and Catalan. You have to use the website in the same language you want to receive the certificate.

 

  1. I’m an UB student and I paid my accident insurance throughout the school enrollement. How can I get any insurance certificate?

Please send us an e-mail to ub@ferrerojeda.com including the school enrollement recepit and your ID number and we’ll send it to you as soon as possible.

 

  1. The insurance certificate contains mistakes, can I correct it?

  1. What should I do in case of loss or need assistance?

In the insurance certificate there is the telephone number of the company, 365 days and 24 hours available. First of all you should always contact them and they will guide you throughout the process.

  1. I am an international student/teacher/researcher and I come to Spain, what insurance do I need to get?

If you come from an European Union country or you are from Switzerland and you have the European Health Card in force, you can get the basic product, REPATRIACIÓN + ACCIDENTES IN. It only has a guarantee of repatriation and accidents.

If not, you need to get the UB INCOMING which includes Euro 100.000 in medical expenses and has all the necessary requirements to authorize the resident visa.

 

  1. If I would get an insurance with a duration longer than one year, can I  have it?

NO. The maximum duration of the products of the website is 12 months and the contract is NOT renewed automatically, they are temporary policies so if you need a coverage for more than a year you will have to rehire the insurance on your own when this time has passed, with the prices and conditions that exist at that moment.

 

  1. I am an international student/teacher/researcher, I come to Spain and I have an INCOMING INSURANCE. If I go on a trip outside of Spain, am I also covered?

IT WILL DEPEND ON THE COUNTRY OF DESTINATION OF THE TRIP. The INCOMING insurance is exclusively for Spain and countries belonging to the Schengen area. If you travel to a country not included in this territorial area, you will have to get a temporary additional insurance OUTGOING indicating the dates, duration and destination (s) you want to go to, paying the corresponding premium.

  1. I am from Spain and I go outside my country to study/work,  which insurance I need to get?

If your country of destination belongs to the European Union or Switzerland and you have the European Health Card in force, you can get the basic product, REPATRIACIÓN + ACCIDENTES OUT. It only has a guarantee of repatriation and accidents.

If not, you need to get the UB OUTGOING which includes also medical expenses.
